Get Code Dx to find and fix potential vulnerabilities your code

With all of the high-profile hacking incidents in the last several years, testing your code for security vulnerabilities has never been more important. Today Bitnami is happy to announce that software security suite Code Dx, our newest commercial software partner, is now available in the marketplace.

Code Dx brings together a suite of code analysis tools to help you find and fix potential vulnerabilities in your software code. By correlating the results from multiple static analysis tools and aligning them on a common severity scale, Code Dx saves you time and ensures that no stone is left unturned in the quest to provide secure applications for your users.

Code Dx is partnering with Bitnami to standardize its deployment across all platforms, starting with local installation packages for OS X, Windows, and Linux. Bitnami-packaged cloud and virtual machine images will follow in subsequent Code Dx releases.

Some of Code Dx’s stand-out features include:

Enhanced Vulnerability Coverage
  • Detect more weaknesses than any single analysis tool
  • Gain higher confidence in detecting weaknesses with multiple tools
Efficient and Prioritized Remediation
  • Rapid triage of false positives
  • Improved assessment of severity and criticality
  • Source code linked to vulnerabilities
Enhanced Collaboration
  • Security and development teams now have a shared tool to communicate findings and discuss remediation
Visualization and Interaction
  • More understandable data format
  • Focus on the most important weaknesses determined by the user
