Weblate now available in BitNami

Weblate is now part of the BitNami library. Weblate is a web-based translation tool with tight Git integration. It features a simple and clean user interface, propagation of translations across subprojects, consistency checks and automatic linking to source files. Weblate is written in Python and powered by the Django application framework.

Weblate lets you handle several projects and languages simultaneously with an easy-to-use and clear interface.

• Usage of Django's admin interface
• Upload and automatic merging of translation files

You can now download free, ready to run native installers for OS X and Linux, virtual machines and Amazon EC2 images coming soon.

BitNami Stacks in German and Romanian!

We are happy to announce that we added support for two new languages thanks to contributions from our community: German and Romanian. We have started adding these languages for the most popular Stacks: WordPress, Drupal, Joomla! and Redmine.
With this addition, we now support 8 languages in these Stacks including English, Spanish, Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Hebrew and Korean.

As you may know, we have been working on translating our stacks to multiple languages, starting with some of the most popular. In addition to English, Spanish and Portuguese languages, we added support for Simplified Chinese in WordPress, Joomla!, Drupal and Redmine, thanks to contributions from our community.

Get BitNami in your preferred language!

We recently started the process of getting BitNami translated into different languages. The BitNami Redmine Stack is available in Japanese and we already offers BitNami WordPress, Drupal, Joomla! and Redmine in Spanish. Our cloud offering, BitNami Clould Hosting, has also been translated into Spanish recently.

You can help us getting these and other stacks translated into different languages. For this reason we have set up a server running our BitNami Pootle Stack so that BitNami users can help us to make the Stacks available in more languages.
